Sailing at VYC
Vaucluse Yacht Club provides a range of sailing options to members and visitors alike. Whether you want to sail casually, compete, or even learn to sail, the Club offers sailing for everyone on the best harbour in the world.
All are welcome; from novices to championship sailors. The fleet comprises of Standard, Radial and 4.7 Lasers, as well as yachts from 6.5 to 11 metres.
Applications are welcome for Club Membership. This includes voting rights and key privileges.

Tuesday Twilight Racing
We will be announcing the Tuesday Twilight Series soon! Below are the details from 2022-2023.
Vaucluse Yacht Club Tuesday Twilight Series Runs from November 22nd 2022 through till the 28th March 2023. Registrations are now open to join this upcoming twilight season. Please complete the form below if you are interested in taking part as a skipper, or joining one of our current racing yachts on crew. Boat entry fee to the series is $110 or free for VYC skippers.
Presentation and BBQ held on the balcony of the VYC after racing each Tuesday.

Learning to Race Lasers
Vaucluse Yacht Club offers a ‘Learn To Race’ program, allowing those with some prior sailing experience the opportunity to learn how to sail and race Lasers in an eight-week course guided by accredited Australian Sailing Coaches.
The course covers a range of areas such as boat setup, capsizing, sail trim, mark rounding, race starts, tactics and boat handling.
We’ll be announcing a 2023/2024 program soon!
