Hope you all had a good rest, it's time to get back to your boats

and enjoy the second half of the season. Racing will commence on the 7th of January and end on the 31st of March.

Congratulations to Lord Neil.

Showing brilliant boat handling,tactical accumen and physical prowess,the Lord gave the laser fleet a sailing lesson,leading from start to finish to claim an easy victory by two seconds in the VYC Laser Club Championship.

Neil has been representing the ladies auxilliary fleet for most of this season,but manned up to give the full rig sailors a comprehensive sailing lesson.

He has credited his easy victory to a grueling fitness programme,and his agility in the boat was noted by all.

As the VYCs favourite to take out the upcoming World Titles in Queensland,Neil has offered coaching assistance at a special rate of $150 per hour.
