Happy New Year to you all

Well here we are, another year has passed us by, our sailing season nearly over for another year. We hope you all had a very happy Christmas and New Year and continue to enjoy your sailing.

This season, some members have new babies, others have new boats, congratulations, whichever category you may fall into.

We also have some new members this season, so on behalf of the Club, welcome to Tom Simpson and Paul Gibson. Please make yourselves known to our other members, and we hope you join in our social activities, apart from sailing.

Leaving the Club at Night

Please, if you are amongst the last to leave our Club at night clean up after yourselves, switch off all lights, make sure the foot ramp between our club and the baths is up, lock all doors, and remember to bring your boat inside the club. Yes, somebody actually forgot to bring his boat in and put it to bed - we hope he remembered to take the kids home! We don't want to lose any equipment already the Club door has been found open a couple of times this year.

AGM

For all those anxious to become a committee member, office bearer, or similar, your target date is June 11th,
All nominations for Office Bearers to be in by that date.
Meeting starts at 7.30pm (1930 hrs.)

Water Restrictions

With water in short supply and little rain in sight we ask all members to go easy on the water in our club. While we realise you have to hose some of your equipment to prevent damage, avoid overuse of water at this time, and this includes no hosing of sails, and only a quick spray of Laser hulls. The Club is installing auto-off nozzles on hoses to help the cause. While we can live our lives without some things, we cannot live without water, so ask you all to be diligent in this matter.
